Pablo Picasso, an artist who's body of work defines painting
styles and technique. Know for his rose and blue period as well as
helping to create the style known as cubism with the help of painter
Georges Braque. Picasso and Braque studied and painted together
between the years of 1909 and 1912. Cubism came from the artist painting
from several angels simultaneously on the same canvas. This resulted in
strong geometric patterns and angles, both artists gave life to cubism
as it is know today.
