| The rose period by Picasso took place between 1905 and 1907, as Picasso moved away from his palate of blues and into the warmer colors of red's yellow and rose. This also marks the first subject paintings of clowns and circus performers and subject that Picasso will come back to again and again thought his long and interesting life. Several of the Picasso paintings from this period are also featured in the blue period such as the painting "woman with fan, 1905" this piece is a departure from the blue period into the rose period and has elements from both periods. | ||
